FWI-3 or FWI-03 , Fans Wants It number 3 is the unofficial add on of Jetfire parts to create the accurate renditon of Jet Power Up Optimus Prime in the last battle scene of the movie Revenge of the Fallen.

To the date of this post, the FWI-3 makes the Leader Class Optimus Prime true to its movie rendition without need much work or customizing the original Leader Class Optimus Prime of ROTF.
The FWI-3 comes in a big package. The box art is not impressive at all.

Out of the box, the FWI-3 comes with the Jet Power add on and color instructions.

The main body does not has small fragile parts attached to it, the fragile parts is placed in plastics sheet of the instructions.

In order to use the FWI-3 add on, you will need to first own either Hasbro or Takara version of the ROTF Leader Class Prime.

The quality of the instructions sheet of FWI-3 is impressive, and in my humble opinion it is better than most 3rd party add on that I have to date.

The fragile part is the piece connecting the shoulder pad or the cockpit/nosecone of what remains of the SR-71. Extreme care needed to protect your investment. I would loosen the screw abit, put some acrylic or plastic friendly lubricant. Holding the entire fragile piece before transforming the shoulder pads.

For the attaching of the parts, it is recommended in the instructions to first attach the feets. Remove the feet parts from the main body.

In order to attach the feets, first detach the FWI-3 feet part from the main body. Followed by preparing Optimus Prime feets.

Then prepare the FWI-3 feet parts.

Line up the connectors pegs from the leg and leg parts and connect the pegs together.

Once the feets are done, proceed to prepare the Jet Power main part. The main part difficulty is to transform the shoulder pads proper.

Next, attach the main to the Jet Power main body.

Then unplugged the harness from both sides of the jet engines.

Followed by transforming back of ROTF Optimus Prime.

Lastly, latch the main Jet Power part at the back of Optimus Prime from the top. It is best refer to the instructions and determine how to line the harness at the side.

The last part of the completion is to attach 2 mini cannons.

The mini cannons can be attached 2 ways. Either on the shoulders, or on Optimus Prime wrists.

As a conclusion, the FWI-3 is recommended to fans of ROTF Optimus Prime who wants the most accurate rendition of the movie without paying premium for customs. The downside is the part shoulder felt fragile. Becareful of top heaviness and ball joints weaken at the ankle would make the figure hard to balance.
